Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED teaches participants how to give first aid, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and use an automated external defibrillator safely and effectively. for adult, child, and infant. It is designed for individuals without a medical background who need training for their job, regulatory requirements (OSHA), or to add to the resume if applicable.

-        Medical emergencies/ Injury emergencies

-        Basic First Aid

-        Environmental emergencies

-        Preventing illness and injury

-        Adult CPR and AED use

-        Choking help for an Adult, Child or Infant

-        Drowning response and prevention

-        Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies

-        Workplace safety teams (OSHA-compliant certification)

-        Daycare Center Staff

-        Coaches/Recreation volunteers

How long will the class last? Approximately 3-5 hours (depending on class size)

Testing: Students will be required to complete a skills evaluation without assistance but no written exam is required for completion.
