Heartsaver CPR AED teaches participants how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) safely and effectively for adult, child, and infant. It is designed for individuals without a medical background who need training for their job, regulatory requirements (OSHA), or to add to the resume if applicable.

*Please note: This course does not include the First Aid component.

Included Course Content:

-        Adult CPR and AED use

-        Choking relief for adults, children, and infants

-        Drowning prevention and response

-        Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies

Who should take this course?

-        Daycare Center Staff

-        Churches

-        Teachers/ School employees

-        Coaches/Recreation volunteers

-        Restaurant employees

-        Parents

-        Babysitters

-        Camp counselors/staff

Testing: Students will be required to complete a skills evaluation without assistance but no written exam is required for completion.

How long will the class last? Approximately 3 hours (depending on class size)
