This Basic Life Support (BLS) course is designed for those who have previously completed an initial BLS course and are renewing their certification prior to expiration. This course is a video-based, instructor-led, hands-on learning experience designed for healthcare professionals and first responders.

*BLS Renewals: Please bring proof or email a copy of your most recent/unexpired AHA BLS card to class.

Included Course Content:

-        High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants

-        BLS concepts from the Chain of Survival

-        Delivering effective breaths or ventilations

-        AED use

-        How to perform as an effective team member during multi-rescuer CPR

-        Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults, children, and infants

-        Toxicology: Opioid Overdose

-        Students who successfully pass the skills test and score at least 84% on the exam will receive a course completion card.

How long will the class last? Approximately 2-3 hours (depending on class size)
